You can now download a revised and updated (to 3.5) version of White Plume Mountain. Like a lot of things, I picked up Return to White Plume Mountain, but never really got through it so when I get around to checking this, out I’ll probably sit down with the original (or at leastan original) to compare the two.
Unfortunately, it looks like they watered down Tomb of Horrors, so I’ll be interested to see if they did the same with this one. Although it’s a little different. Tomb of Horrors was supposed to be a killer (literally) module where as White Plume Mountain, while one of the top adventures, wasn’t known for bringing a party to its knees.
My copy of Spell Compendium should get here on Tuesday. I was kind of bummed it didn’t come earlier, but I had a chance to flip through it in Borders. As advertised, it’s spells, spells, and more spells. When I get around to it, a review will be forthcoming.
I also downloaded a couple of goodies from RPGnow.com. Eventually, I’m going to get my reviews going. Just trying to figure out where to start.
