D&D News and Information for Dungeon Masters and Players
[powered by WordPress.]
Alright, it’s been a while since I posted. The main reason is, I have a baseball related side job, and after the All Star break, my time was a commodity. I didn’t get a chance to read much D&D, so I didn’t feel like writing out about it would benefit anyone.
Now with the season over, I’m back. And I promise to post something at least once a week. So reset your bookmarks.
First off, we go to my favorite locale, the Forgotten Realms. A cool new tool (at least it looks cool, I downloaded it but haven’t tried it), is the Return to Undermountain Dungeon Room Description Generator. You get 100 descriptions so if you decide to pick up the Undermountain Map and roll with it, you can easily and quickly generate some ideas for your campaign.
We’re also up to Room 16 in the Undermountain series. The latest is a very tough (EL Level 13) Drow Camp. This is actually a set of rooms, and it’s not for those lower level parties. Tough stuff.
Ed Greenwood also started a series on the port town of Uthmere in the Easting Reach. As always, this level of detail is very cool to add to any campaign, and you can pick up all six parts by clicking below:
Part 1 - All Anyone Needs
Part 2 - What Smites the Eye in Uthmere
Part 3 - Daily and Nightly Life in Uthmere
Part 4 - First Things to See
Part 5 - Second Things to See
And the newest thing on my want list comes out in December. I love spells, and Wizards is giving me what I want with the Spell Compedium. We’re talking about over 1,000 spells. I have the old Wizard compendiums and Priest compendiums downloaded into my Core Rules v2.0 and I love sifting through there at times and just reading about the vast amount of magic available.

I cruised your Blog, I like love Forgotton Realms as well. RA Salvatore is my personal faviorite. My husband and I are working on a website where we make light of RPG absurdities. We have two episodes thus far, and need a proper opinion from someone who actually plays. wanderingmonster.com if you are interested. Cheers!
