I got my copy of Fiendish Codex in the mail yesterday.  My first impression when I opened the box up was, “man, this book is small.”  I guess I knew how many pages were in it, but it just seemed smaller then the other hardcover books.

It definitely serves it’s purpose and it’s definitely a niche book.  Basically, if you want to run demons in your campaign, this is the book to get.  My favorite chapter is probably chapter 3, which deals with the demon lords.  Including Demogorgon and Orcus.

I know I haven’t been doing as much here on the blog of late.  I do a lot of baseball writing and that seems to take up an inordinate amount of my time during the summer.  Plus, I’m not playing in any games right now.

I am excited about Fiendish Codex though.  I’ve already preordered it, and when I get it and have a chance to thumb through it, I’ll give my initial thoughts here.
